Which ISPs allow the use of Skype voice and Skype video conferencing?
I had a Verizon air card (USB modem) because I live in a rural area that does not have cable inet access. I also have HughesNet satellite inet access. Will either one of these ISPs allow the use of Skype voice conferencing and Skype video conferencing for meetings I’d like to have broadcast to members of my business team in other areas of the country? If not, what ISPs do allow these type of high data transfers?
Isn’t there a maximum amount of MBs or GBs with any ISP?
ISPs don’t usually block Skype so it all really depends on if you have a fast enough connection.
Edit: No, most ISPs don’t have a maximum. The ones that do (Comcast is one of them) have a max of 250GB per month. Even with using Skype for meetings, 250GB should be enough. Best way to make a decision is to call the ISP and ask IF they even have a limit. Every ISP is different and they are constantly changing and adjusting their plans.
